Toronto Dodgeball currently offers leagues mostly in the Central North York and Yonge & Eglinton areas.
Games are played once a week on a given day, Monday to Thursday. For example, if you sign up for Monday dodgeball, you know you have a game each week on Monday. Games are scheduled during the evening. If you have a special request for games times or locations, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
No. You can add players at anytime. The only stipulation is that they have to be added to your roster before they play in a game. In order to be eligible for the playoffs, members must have played the minimum number of games (please check the rules for the minimum games for each season) with the team.
Once you have registered your team, add players to your roster by signing into your profile and clicking onto your team. From there, you can invite players to your team by entering in their name and email. They will receive an email from Toronto Dodgeball telling them that they have been invited to your team. They then click on the link in the email and create a profile for themselves. Once they do this, they will automatically be added to your team.
Toronto Dodgeball has divisions set up based on skill level (to ensure fun competition) and below are the full definitions to each of these skill levels:
Recreational: This level is for players/teams that have little or no experience playing organized Dodgeball. It is for those who are more interested in learning/playing the game, enjoying the exercise value that Dodgeball has to offer and most importantly enjoying the overall “fun factor” that the sport entails. We ask that the percentage of the team who fits the above description no less then 75%. Teams that have finished in the top 2 of this division should consider playing in the Intermediate Level.
Intermediate: This level is for players/teams that have some experience playing organized Dodgeball. Players/team should have an average level of understanding with our rules and some knowledge about the strategy involved with Dodgeball. The fitness level of players will vary, but most players will have a medium fitness level. We ask that the percentage of the team who fits the above description is 50% or more. Teams that have finished in the top 2 of this division should consider playing in the Advanced Level.
